Has anyone done the master cleanse for their pre-op diet? I've done it before, I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried it. Or is it not recommended?

I've read that clenses are not very good for you since it flushes out the good bacteria in your digestive system. Also most doctors tell you not to take herbal remedies two weeks prior to surgery as they may interact with perscription meds that are administered.
