sews4fun 53 Posted July 19, 2012 I used to have this problem all the time...especially when I was a cheerleader in high school (I wasn't fat then). I used deodorant. I rub it on both inner thighs and it worked great for me! Hope you find something that works for ya!!
feb27bandwoman 112 Posted July 19, 2012 I have shorts from Junonia, that have a built in liner with a nylon short. No ride up and no chafing.

lawismylife 41 Posted July 20, 2012 I always wear light control girdles - they are like bike shorts in beige. I never have a problem walkin with them.
Heathermarie0407 67 Posted July 20, 2012 Stick deodorant works wonders. I have also done baby powder. They both work wonderful. I tend to prefer powder because I can poof it all over my thighs and stomach to stay dry and fresh.
Heathermarie0407 67 Posted July 20, 2012 I should also say that whichever I use I apply right out of the shower, every day, as a preventative. Healing an already there rash or broken skin is a whole other story.
cassiem93 39 Posted August 9, 2012 I have the same problem and i use baby powder. Lots and Lots of baby powder. My bathroom is usually all white by the time i am done but its the only thing i can find that helps take mine away and prevent it from coming!
hondachica05 2 Posted August 9, 2012 I get horrible Chaffing and I have found that a cocoa butter oil lotion made by Vaseline helps prevent it and feels great. Use it right after shaving to prevent bumps as well. And you can even use it before getting in the shower to shave as it will help the razor glide more smoothly and prevent irritation. RebecaSparkles 247 Posted March 14, 2013 Lanacane!!! It comes in a yellow box at cvs/walmart etc. it works great on thighs, feet etc. a small pea sized dab goes far & you wont sweat through it. I put that & then for those extra humid days I put the magnolia scented johnson & johnson baby powder but only the non talc kind. There is also a monostat anti chafing cream available that works the same but smaller bottle & more girly smell. Lanacane has no smell, it doesnt leave a discoloration if you get on clothes. I am a prosthetist by trade and we use it on people who have problems on their residual limbs ( stumps). Also, anti-persperant which is different than deodorant applied to thighs the night before with a nice thick coat. And then in the next am you shower it off will help with the sweaty thighs. They also make anti-persperant sprays for amputees that work wonders but can be pricy. Regular walmart/cvs/ grocery store anti persperant normally works for most everyone but you can ask the pharmicist to sell you the " good stuff" over the counter without rx if you need more power! Hope this helps! Rebeca
blondegal_ 1,028 Posted March 14, 2013 I have this issue too...it was a problem even when I was skinny. I've tried all sorts of things...balms' date=' salves, chafe glide, powder...you name it! My doc recommended Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel...it's worked miracles for me (really!). The only downside to this product is that it can be pricey if you use it all the time. Hope you find something that works :-)[/quote'] Totally agree with the monistat gel and then deo with baby powder as others said.

4sweeties 63 Posted March 18, 2013 I have skinny friends who get the problem too. I think sensitive skin gets it- skin rubbing against skin or fabric against skin can cause it. Butt paste, diaper rash creams, monistat 7...they work after. But work great!
