Mellissa 22 Posted June 19, 2012 Hi Everyone I am new to this site! I am day 4 into my pre-op detox and I am kind of getting bored with my menu! I have found some great spices that I am using for chicken...but always looking for more ideas! I am having my surgery in Toronto on June 29 and look forward to making friends on this site and getting info about all stages of this process!
BikiniBodby30 6 Posted June 19, 2012 Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! The pre op diet is tedious and boring but ultimately the whole reason we are doing it is so that our liver shrinks. What has kept me from cheating these past 12 days is knowing that if my liver isn't small enough, they will NOT place my band. I'd hate to have to be cut open, just to find out that they couldn't do the implant because I couldn't follow instructions.
Mellissa 22 Posted June 19, 2012 I agree and that is what I need to keep telling myself! It's a great support talking to people doing the same thing!! Thanks so much for the reply! You are so close! Keep up the great work!

lassie 247 Posted June 19, 2012 Love Canada. I have family in Canada and they said that Canada does not usually approve lab band surgery . Looks like that is not true. Lassie
