PreOp wt = 227 Surgery date wt = 218 Current weight = 200.8 @ 1month post op Why do u think u are a 'slow' loser ? the average u should be losing is around 1 - 2 lbs a week which u seem to be doing .. quite a few people dont lose much weight post surgery untill the fills start kicking in, you seem to be doing fine .. stick with what u are doing it seems to be working
2muchfun 8,927 Posted June 18, 2012 Cazzy's right. But don't put negative thoughts in your head like this. You don't know if you are a slow loser yet. 18 lbs in one month is outstanding, but you do know it's mostly Water weight you've lost? I know you don't mean to set yourself up for slow weight loss but get that thought out of your head. After the first 3-4 months, you could say we're all slow losers. Most of us only lose 4 lbs a month. Before I was banded, I would think that was very slow. But now, I'm OK with it, but I'll push for 6-8 lbs/mo as hard as I can. No excuses! tmf
caramel*99 10 Posted June 18, 2012 I had surgery the same day and down 20 lbs that's including my pre op diet...so sounds to me you're doing awesome!
Ronnie Rae Scott 8 Posted July 1, 2012 My date is may 14th also. Down 22lbs. I'm really happy about it! But it seems to me that all my friends and family think it was gonna happen over night. I try to tell them iv only had one fill and it's just up to me right now, like I'm on a diet. Anyways after 5 or six weeks that's a little over 4lbs a week, I would have never been able to do that by my self! It takes time! Day by day.... I'm gonna keep working at it and time will show. 274lb now 252.... Great start! So all my may girls lets work it
