miswoo 23 Posted June 16, 2012 I had the best (not to mention cutest) anesthesiologist for lap band. I have had bad experiences during childbirth and for dental surgery where I have had delayed reactions to anestesia. After being awake for dental surgery I was knocked out cold on the way home. I voiced my concerns and so he said "so you want me to make sure you are really out before we start?" I said YES PLEASE! On the way to o.r. he asked how about a cocktail? I was woozy moving over to the table and bam....that was it. Next thing I knew I was in recovery with my sweet little nurse holding my hand!
Fantasy 104 Posted June 17, 2012 Well it sounds like you have had several surgeries before and this was never an issue for you. Why would it be an issue now? Your surgery is only a few days away, Take a deep breath and relax. When you get to the hospital ask to speak to the anesthesiologist prior to your surgery regarding your concerns. Good luck.
