It's not that bad LOL! I was scared my first time also.

Really not bad. Mine are done with no pre numbing shot. Before I lost some weight the nurse had me do a small crunch which helped her feel the port better. At my first fill (3 cc's) when I stood up from the table I felt this slight constriction against my stomach. Did not hurt or anything just felt a bit odd. So if you feel that don't panic. Make sure to stay on Full liquids for 24 hours and then mushies for another 24 hours.

I was nervous too. They give you a.cup of Water to drink. I sipped on that glass for 20 minutes and the people who came out after.me were drinking it and leaving. Lol
