mufasas-mom 170 Posted June 12, 2012 wow - carb intake at 125 is great - I'm diabetic and my docs say my carb allowance per day is 165- which I don't hit everyday - but I've learned to cut every meal in half and make it two meals - our office offers meals to go -so around 4:00pm I run down to the cafeteria and grab a meal (usually salad with grilled chicken and such) but they are HUGE salads and nobody should really finish a whole one....as i'm sure it's like 3 portions. Fat comes from calories, but from what you said you eat it doesn't sound like you are eating a lot of those either. Are you working out? And as for the uti I would just take anti biotics. And maybe Tylenol for the pain. Hope you feel better soon! And btw. My aunt was on the low card diet for 3 months and only lost 5 pounds. I was ob it for a month and lost 10. Sent from my DROID RAZR using LapBandTalk make sure you are drinking lots of Water if your body starts to dehydrate it wont let go of any fat for every lb of fat there is Water also I truely believe if you go the liver shrinking diet it has to be low carb target for around 30g daily (like the theory behind Atkins) most of the protien drinks have too many carbs do find a lower one if you body has an abundance.
