Yvette74 0 Posted June 12, 2012 Hi, I was banded on 05/19/11 and I still have that shoulder and neck pain sometimes. I have noticed that I get it when I drink my liquids too fast. I know it's past a year that I was banded but I still working on having sips of liquid. I live in Arizona and we have up 100's temperatures here and I get very thirsty so sometimes I forget that I can't gulp liquids anymore and I get that horrible pain. prettysmart1913 48 Posted August 29, 2012 I read somewhere that there is a nerve in your abdomen that runs to the left shoulder. I get the pain that you are talking about when I'm hungry and start eating too fast. It feels like a pulled muscle and makes me slow down. Strange huh? 1 Yvette74 reacted to this
