chasityboaz 3 Posted June 10, 2012 I was banded june 1st.... Good luck to u! Make sure u have ur gas-x medicine as it will help tremendously with the gas pain. Walk even when u dont feel like u can, it will also make things easier. Do Not rush ur healing! Take this time for u to get better. I did, and was down for extra days. Allow the ones u take care of on a daily basis to take care of u..) everyone heals at a differant rate...good luck! 1 erin313 reacted to this

siskris 4 Posted June 12, 2012 Where did you have it done? I'm at Beth Israel in Boston,MA. I guess all drs are different. I'm not too impressed with the hospital at this moment, they asked me to bring my cpap machine and here it is 10:30 and respiratory hasn't even hooked it up yet. siskris 4 Posted June 15, 2012 I'm afraid that I have an infection by the port. It's only been 5 days since my surgery and the steri strips are still on. My skin is pink around the area. My fiancé thinks its an allergic reaction to the tape that was used. Has anyone else had this problem?
