Just starting my journey went to a seminar and found out my insurance covers it going to consult appointment on June 22

I'll be your buddy I have my surgery on the 29th and I start my pre op diet next week. Have you already decided you're a go or just looking at things to start with?

I decide I'm a go. Just not sure how long everything takes after my consult appointment

I think you'll be glad... I know I am. For me after the seminar (I went to many, multiple places before I decided) then I had the consult and since I was self pay at my consult they let me pick my date - soonest was about 3 weeks out, I put it off about 5 just due to when I could take vacation. I have my pre op diet class and start this neext week, another consult the week after and then one final meeting with surgeon just a couple days before surgery. Sounds like you'll soon be on your way!
