honk 780 Posted June 8, 2012 Really is not a big deal. As a hint the nurse found it easier to access the port if I did a small crunch. Does not really hurt. Don't watch if you think it will bother you.
Helmut 9 Posted June 8, 2012 Try no to be nervous. It is such an easy procedure. The needle won't even qualify as a bee sting. Barely feel it.

sandy.lyons 5 Posted June 9, 2012 I get my first fill on th 19. I will be anxious to see what you think after having it done. Does anyone ever put ice on it before the needle is inserted? I thought that might make it hurt less.
catherine77 2 Posted June 9, 2012 I had my fill 2 days ago and I too was so scared thinking it was going to hurt, she made me do a kind of stomach crunch and I did not even feel the needle. She just covered with a band aid and off I went. Did notice yesterday I had weird feeling in my stomach, not a stomach ache from eating just a small amount of pain.
