shellvw 21 Posted June 7, 2012 Did anyone else have side pain? I think its gas, not anything serious and I talked with dr office and they didnt seem too worried. I think I have read about this a few times on here but I'm a worry wart! Also, they gave me permission to switch to children's tylenol if I want but didnt tell me dosage- any ideas? I dont think i need full strength pain meds but just a little something to help. And lastly, dr office said I could boat this weekend just not lift anything or get incisions wet which is what I expected, does that sound right? My doctor seems to be very liberal compared to most, no pre op diet change whatsoever and really no other rules. Super excited to start losing.
Toddy 758 Posted June 7, 2012 Sitting in a boat in nice calm Water would be fine. Speeding across the water in a bumpy boat would be excruciating, I would think.
shellvw 21 Posted June 7, 2012 I'm thinking of not sitting up front and having fiancé take it easy just miss being out on Water and last year we had so much flooding in Sd we didn't get to go often! I totally agree being bounced around would be horrible- a lot depends on wind for how the water is I guess so hoping for. 5 to 10!
pink dahlia 2,513 Posted June 7, 2012 i had the side pain for about 10 days, it felt like a bad pulled muscle over the port on the left side. i was so bored after 2 days at home that i went and did some lite xmas shopping, i felt that good !. The fresh air and a little walking made all the difference. just take it realllllll slow and easy, including the boating and getting in and out of the boat, etc..... Have fun !
