18 Days After Abdominoplasty And Love It!

Recommended Posts

I've lost 170 lbs and just had my Tummy Tuck here in Houston. I was prepared for lots of pain but it hasn't been bad at all. I went back to work after 10 days (half days only). I still have a drain in and I'm having to try to take it easy. That's been the hardest part. I'm going to Mexico for the rest of my work but didn't want to risk getting the biggest part done so far from home.

The tt has changed my life! I can now wear cute underwear for the first time since being a teenager! And omg, belts! I just bought a couple and can't wait to go shopping!

My surgeon was Camille Cash here in Houston. She really is incredible. The total cost with all fees was $10,200.

You look amazing Karen....I know I already told you that...lol Ouch your cost was spendy...but looks so worth it!! What you paid for TT...is same price for my LBL, Lipo and inner thigh lift with Dr Q. When will you be going to cosmed? ?

I'm hoping to go in August. I don't have a date yet. Need to get them the down payment. Yeah, it was more in Houston for my stomach than it would have my my stomach and breast lift with dr Quiroz, but I was nervous and didn't want to travel so far. I don't have anyone to with me. The other things will be a breeze and I see now that I could have done this in Mexico and been able to travel. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Karen, you look wonderful. I did my tt and breast lift 2 years ago and I also feel it changed my life. I just did brachioplasty 12 days ago.... Now I'm done. But I like these results too. But like you my stomach was the bigger issue and I wanted that taken care.

Take care,

Josie

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
