lupediva 56 Posted June 5, 2012 I'm having the lap band on 19th, I will take advantage of getting the LB! to get my husband to things for me. I've always had to take care of everyone and everything. I want to take a break. Do you think it's wrong. Sent from my DROID RAZR using LapBandTalk
SageTracey 608 Posted June 5, 2012 Getting the lapband is a positive step towards taking care of yourself. I hope your husband will be a great support for you as you make this major life change and that he doesn't feel taken advantage of!
Grandma3 73 Posted June 5, 2012 My doctor said "do not let anyone wait on you, get up yourself and move, you will feel much better faster". Although a little spoiling is great, you need to keep moving. The more you move, the better you will feel.
Humming Bird 275 Posted June 5, 2012 I don't think it's wrong to "milk it" a little, but I'm sure it will be short lived. It seems when you are the one that always takes care of everyone else, those people are clueless and sometimes don't return the favor for long. Don't be upset if it's short lived. Work on recovery and start living your new life
lupediva 56 Posted June 5, 2012 thanks everyone for your advice, I promise that I won't overdo it. just want husband to remember what it is to take care of our children all the time and have a full time job. I think sometimes dad and husband need a reminder. Sent from my DROID RAZR using LapBandTalk
