Hi! My name is Megan and I will turn 30 on September 3rd. I am looking forward to getting the lap band in the near future. I am just beginning the process. I have spent a good deal of time researching the lap band online, reading a book about the lap band and I will be attending a surgery seminar on Tuesday.

On a personal note, I work for a state university and live in Michigan with my furry family (3 greyhounds & a lab mix).

Nice to "meet" you Megan! I was just banded May 18th. I turn 29 in a few months and refuse to enter my 30s obese. So far I'm loving everything about this process. It's taught me SO much. Good luck on your journey!!
