A New New Dawn 1,695 Posted August 25, 2012 My surgery date is set for July 30th, but just really nervous about it. I was looking at this blog and noticed your surgery date was very close to mine. I had mine on 7/25 at the same hospital as you but with Dr. Klem. How's it going for you so far? It was a great feeling at work today when a woman I don't see very often said "wow, you look like you lost a lot of weight..." Hope it's going well for you! I lost 10 lbs during the preop and 22 since my surgery. Woo hoo!!!! Loving it! 1 PattyGirl66 reacted to this
Meowmom 14 Posted August 25, 2012 I was banded on July 19th. So far loosing about 1 lb a week. I had one fill and didn't notice much difference after. I go Tues for next fill. Sure hope it will make a big difference. I am very hungry and can eat about 2 cups at this time Way too much. How are the rest of you doing with this? Would love the feedback. Dose anyone know how many Cc's are the best for good restriction? I beliee my band is 12 CC's. Thanks for the input. Rita
PattyGirl66 1,243 Posted August 25, 2012 Hello July Bandsters! Hope everyone is doing really really well. I am now 4 weeks post-op, incisions are still healing but very nicely. Still on the mushy stages for another week.Getting in about 4 ounces of mushy foods down per meal. Drinking tons of Water. I had to have air removed from my band as there was air trapped from surgery. I was so nervous, but the surgeon found my port in just seconds and didn't feel anything honestly, it was really nothing. Now , I am sure once I have a fill it will be just a little different adjusting to the band being a little tight. I am not exercising as much as I would like, really some days I have very little energy and some days a burst! As of right now I am satisfied with my portions, as I know this won't last.. Wishing you all great success! Looking forward to hearing from some of you
