Tamg 29 Posted May 30, 2012 Good morning, I hope someone can shed some light on what is happening right now. I had my surgery May 11th and everything has been running smoothly since. The only issue I've had has been using the restroom. Yesterday I knew I had to go so was pushing hard to go and now where my port is and under my ribs is a different kind of feeling since the surgery. I pray my port didnt flip that I've heard so much about, i dont recall reading anything about pain or discomfort. I'm very nervous that I might of done something wrong. Any thoughts would be great. SageTracey 608 Posted May 30, 2012 Tammy, if you are really worried, please contact your doctor. I doubt that you have actually caused your port to flip simply by straining, but it is more important that you have peace of mind.
Tamg 29 Posted May 30, 2012 Thanks SageTracey for the advise. I have my follow up appt with the doc tomorrow. Just nervous because I wanted this so badly and am afraid something could go wrong and have to take it out. The whole bathroom issue is my fault because of not taking benefiber like I should of and that aggravates me to no end. Thanks again. Tammy
honk 780 Posted May 30, 2012 I was going to recommend benefiber. I add it every morning to my Greek yogurt. I also take Vitafusion Gummy Fiber in the morning and a couple at night.
