Incision And Sticthes

I am 5 weeks post-op coming up Friday . At times have a little pain at port site . But to day on the right hand side of my big incision was a place that looked like it had puss . When I rubbed it puss came out along with the end of two stitches . Has this happened to anyone else ? Dr office is closed , so I cleaned the area and put a band aid over it . But it is going to drive me crazy til I can get ahold of the doc tomorrow .

There should be someone on call at your doctors office, did you try to call?

Sounds like your incision is infected to me.

Got ahold of doc , it was a dissolveable stitch that didn't dissolve an worked it's way to the top of the incision . No infection , but really scared me . But thank you grandma3
