dianec 8 Posted August 11, 2012 My left arm is healing AWESOME, however my right arm the scar is not healing as well - thicker scar. I am massaging them and putting the lotion on. Pain is not in the arms, just my abdomen.
Cazzy 725 Posted August 12, 2012 Mine was the same except its my left arm scar which is slightly thicker than my right arm, i think we would be very lucky if both scars ended up exactly the same, just keep doing what u are doing it can take months and months of work on the scar to see results .. Hang in there, and keep looking at your before pics ... 1 dianec reacted to this

dianec 8 Posted September 23, 2012 I took off 6 weeks (but I had 3 procedures - Tummy Tuck, back lift and the brachioplasty).
SVM10 6 Posted September 24, 2012 How much time is recommended for brachioplasty only?
dianec 8 Posted September 25, 2012 Not quite sure, but probably two weeks. Depending on the type of work you do.
SVM10 6 Posted September 25, 2012 Thanks, mostly desk work but I do go out to the schools and test.
JosieK 120 Posted September 25, 2012 Hi SVM The brachiplasty was the easiest operation for me to recover. Even easier then the lap band. My operation was pretty straightforward....no drains, etc. I'd say 10 days would be a good amount of time. My operation was on a Wednesday. I would've been able to go back after 1 1/2 weeks. I don't work anymore but I was doing pretty heavy housework within 1 week. Good luck in your Quest Josie
