Tricia39 22 Posted May 29, 2012 2 weeks ago today I had surgery. I've only lost 16lbs and 12lbs of that was pre-op. My band is empty, 1st fill is June 14th. I'm on soft foods now. I try to eat 4ozs every 3 hours. And I will say I get HUNGRY, but I don't eat to full feel I eat as if I have restrictions. I try to have 60 grams of Protein with them nasty shakes. I was a little upset because I only lost 4lbs in 2 weeks but my doc said that was good for someone with no restrictions. I wish I could get my pre-surgery energy back. natbug2011 1 Posted May 29, 2012 It seems like were at about the same stage this is my third week post op and at a week after I had lost 17 pounds and since I have lost about three more but I am starting to feel hungry but I still eat somethings that just don't sit right with me. I haven't seen a difference in my energy and that's somthing I don't really understand because I haven't been drinking all the Protein that I should. I also get my first fill on the 14 and I can't wait Wishing you the best of luck !!!
honk 780 Posted May 29, 2012 Most doctors say you will loose up to 2 pounds a week with the band. I am very conservative with my food choices and exercise 7 days a week for more than an hour; and loose less than 1 pound a week.

dianalyn 11 Posted May 30, 2012 Went to my pre surgery appointment - getting banded August 1st. ( having gallbladder surgery Thursday). To the point- my doctor recommends sublingual b-12 or b-12 shots to regain energy. Can not hurt to try.
Lose100 178 Posted May 30, 2012 Tricia39, you are right on target. 2 lbs a week is great.
