lchouinard83 13 Posted May 28, 2012 Has anyone eaten watermelon while they were on the soft solid stage? How well were you able to digest it? I am really craving watermelon especially on these hot muggy days... I know obviously I would have to have it seedless ... thanks!! :-)
smbentz1227 0 Posted May 28, 2012 Depending on whether you had lap band or Roux en Y, the watermelon may cause dumping syndrome due to the sugar in the watermelon.

1shauna1 129 Posted May 28, 2012 I didn't try while on the mushy food stage....I guess if you blended or smushed it you could try. I love watermelon as it is a great fruit without a skin!
lchouinard83 13 Posted May 28, 2012 I only have a week and a half left of soft solids... I guess I can hold out a little longer!! will really be a good treat then!
says_simon 10 Posted May 31, 2012 I actually have trouble eating much watermelon. It's quite fibrous, and I don't usually think of watermelon in terms of Fiber. I'm on a regular band diet, not mushies.
