jannaboo 12 Posted May 27, 2012 I can't figure out if it's hunger pains or gas. I just want to eat
1shauna1 129 Posted May 27, 2012 This is the most crucial time to follow your doctor's orders as you're just healing and I'm sure you're on a liquid diet. It's probably gas; get up and walk around a little (it does help). YOu could try Gas-X strips also (they just dissolve on your tongue).
sandy.lyons 5 Posted May 27, 2012 They said I wouldn't really be hungry, but I am hungry too. I am just doing liquids, broth, Soup, Jello. The gas hurts through my shoulders. Several people have suggested GasX strips. I am going to go to the store to get some tomorrow. Hope you get to feeling better.
Misti Underwood Elledge 2 Posted May 27, 2012 I starved the first 4 days. My stomach rumbled and was very mad at me. I am happy to say a week later, that I am satisfied. Hang in there! You can do it.
gottobeme 81 Posted May 27, 2012 I agree with everything posted so far. It is hard to tell. Move as much as you can and keep up on the liquids. I about 2 more days things should be much better!!!
jannaboo 12 Posted May 27, 2012 I have been doing gas x and walking. I just have shoulder pain at this point. It's getting old sipping on the same stuff. I feel A little depressed
FLHgal 68 Posted May 27, 2012 I could have Tomato Soup on my full liquid. It put a little more in the tummy than Water.< /p> I agree with get moving....I was fortunate and skipped the gas pains...Hang in there..it will pass..no pun intended. Good Luck
Kimmi_B 5 Posted May 28, 2012 I was banded on Friday and I agree with the hunger thing. I think it's just hard to adjust to not eating real food right now. I have been good with the diet so far, just bored with the same old stuff. I do find that V8 juice helps me feel a little more satisfied. I just sip on it and it makes me think I'm eating something semi-normal. Hang in there! We WILL get through this!
