Pissed But Not Taking A Denial For An Answer!!!

Okay so my insurance denied me because they want a letter from another doctor with a medical clearance and a letter of recommendation for surgery, ok the recommendation letter was original sent...now my doctor has sent the medical clearance letter so i wait again...i have cigna...any one else denied for something and after sending that in still denied...im so worry i really dont want to have to go through an appeal...i think its all a game with insurance companies sometimes, any input???

Wow as i was posting this they called me and said i was approved!!!!! Yah im so ready to start my journey

Congratulations on the approval and I have CIGNA so reading this was scary to me! Prayerfully everything will be okay once the paperwork is sent.... I will have my paperwork hopefully submitted the 1st week of June

What i learned from them if u send all they need they will approve..my advocate thought the recommendation letter would be enough, but they justed wanted an additional letter giving medical clearance from a doc other than my surgeon, so he sent that 2 days later approved...good luck keep posted.
