I do and I had a visit with my primary care physician. this was my first visit in a long time but he told me he will have to do documentation on me trying to lose weight over the next three months cause my insurance requires it ahead of time. I was kind bummed but I guess I am just feeling impatient. Over the last few days I have decided to try and lose some weight in the mean time but now I am worried that if I lose a little bit they will say no to the lapband because i am losing some weight. Everytime I try to lose weight, I come to hault and get frustrated and then the weight comes right back on :-(

I feel the same way I read all the post & I get really motivated to get started but I don't want the insurance co to say no I don't submit my paperwork until the end of July so I don't know if they will use my intial weight or my current weight so I am just working on increasing my Water to 64 oz and eating really slow so that don't be a challenge Sydney u get banded

You need to find out your insurance requirement for banding. Most require 35 BMI with two comorbidities or 40 BMI without. I doubt you would lose enough in three months to go below 40 BMI, so I would not worry about that as a problem. If I were you, I would take the next three months to follow band rules- small portions, chew well, high Protein meals and no drinking with or for 30 minutes after meals.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
