Update!!! Never trust your doctor's for insurance verification!!! I finally got a copy of my 94 page policy and it clearly says that my insurance does not cover lap band!! They got me to do things for 7 months and billed my insurance for actions that were clearly not needed!! Scam!!!! Back to yo yo dieting for me!!! Sad day!!

P.S. does anyone know of a doctor in Cali for self pay? And how much? financing? ? Info???

Search on this site or just google it for any doctor, and then call and ask if they execpt Care Credit. That is a financing for medical procedures. That is what my boyfriend and I are doing. Actually we are saving 10,000 to put down in cash, then financing the other 20,000 and paying that off as quickly as possible.

Just keep researching. That's what I've been doing.
