angelbabyamy 0 Posted May 20, 2012 HI! Are you using your incentive spirometer? On my second day I had a low grade fever and then that night had chills and a fever that went to 100.6. I wasn't using mine like I was supposed to. I got up and surfed the internet and used it a lot over several hours. Fever went down and never had a problem since. If you are having increasing redness, pain and heat around your incisions, your fever goes up and breathing doesn't help I would call my doctor. I wish you a speedy recovery and great success!
