Ellieroo 0 Posted March 4, 2006 Had my surgery in Mexico - loved the doctor. Lost ~10 lbs after surgery, then another 5 lbs after first fill (2 mls, in Mexico). Now most days I can eat too much. Not losing much any more. I've been about the same weight for a couple of months. I would like to get a further fill. I'd prefer a doctor that uses barium. I am hoping to find one within 3 hours drive - Wash DC - Richmond VA I'm willing to go further, though if I can do it in half a day. I called a few doctors in the area that do lap banding and they were saying they only do fills on their on patients. Also I am interested in a support group. I'm still addicted to food! If they are booked up for the current month, try calling a day or two before and see if there are any cancellations. She's quick -- in and out in less than 15 minutes. $200 flat fee. No insurance accepted on fills. (You can submit on your own after paying her, if your insurance covers it.) Carrie22803 from the MD board goes to her.
