Do any of you get a nagging feeling when it's time to eat. I've been doing like 3or 4 oz of Soup and I noticed every 2 hours I get this feeling and after I eat it goes away. Is the normal or am I crazy?

Be very careful with what you are eating. The one thing you want to do is make sure you are sipping and drinking Water. It could also be gas pains which means you need to walk, walk, walk as much as possible. Remember your body is trying to adjust to what you have just experience. Your band doesn't tell you when to eat it is a tool to control your eating.

And my stomach is growling around that time, once I drink some broth is goes away, I don't think I'm eating enough. I have a total of 3 Soups a day maybe 2 yogurts 2 Protein shakes 29 grams each a day. And 32 oz of Water

Yes your stomach will sound like a fight is going on and that could be gas. Trust me the same thing was going on with me. However, I was on Clear liquids for three weeks at 2 ounces every 30 minutes which I couldn't do. My main focus was to get in at least 50 to 60 grams of Protein a day. When I started on full liquids, I could only have it after I got in my Protein which increased to 80 grams a day. Some days I only had a 1/4 cup of cream of chicken because I was concern about my protein and Water.

If you have concerns, you can always call your surgeon's office and they can provide you with assistance.

I'm suppose to start soft foods tomorrow. What about the burning and I know the itching means it's healing

I have a burning sensation too, especially when i bend over. I think that might be incision pain. Not sure. The fluids become uncomfortable for me sometimes. I just stop. I know I am working up to getting the fluids and protien, but you have to listen to your body first.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
