KristinsMommy 145 Posted May 17, 2012 I had my first appointment with the nutritionist today it went well. tomorrow I meet with the surgeon for the first consultation. only thing I didn't like Is she kind of down graded the band she said on average Banders only lose 30lbs but I just kinda ignored it because I know that's not true Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I wonder if you should mention her comment when you talk with the surgeon. They're supposed to be working together. Have you had the counselor evaluation yet? eyeononederland 27 Posted May 17, 2012 My nutritionist basically just told me that I could anticipate approx 20% weight loss in one year. I've also read that you can anticipate losing approxmiately 50% of your excess weight in 1 year. For me, those numbers are right about the same, so I'm keeping that in the back of my mind.
