Hey Daisy sorry I havnt been checking in! It's been awhile. That is for sure!

Have you tried working out early in the am? That way it's done and out of the way for the day!

I'm still going strong down to 197 I went to my dr yesterday they asked if I would like to start coming every 6 weeks instead of every 4 I told them right now I just don't feel it's the right time and would still like to come every 4. I slip time to time and my dr appointments keep me accountable.

Your picture looks amazing Daisy you look great!!!!!

Thank you Teara! Missed you around here! How does it feel to be in onederland? Would love to get there myself. Working out in a.m. Is hard for me but I can do that on the weekends. Weekdays I am going to try and do right after I get home but before I've had dinner and am all relaxed. Will let you know how it goes. Benefit of this job is I can afford a trainer 1-2x a week again. Yay!

I have my nephews party tonight so I'm going to eat what I would like in moderation since I've been Very strict on myself

Yay! so happy for you. :)

My doctor said my numbers are unheard of... lol! That I am a lap band "poster child" and that she's proud of me. It makes me feel good about what I'm doing.

Tho today my attitude has sucked... Ran around all day, got home at 10 too tired to work out (I HATE making excuses for myself but today I did).. This was after I had my treat dinner which I planned for. I feel like a fat lazy blob and a failure. I have got to get it together tomorrow and I don't care how tired I feel at the end of the day. why doesn't life slow down for a minute?!?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
