Feeling Discouraged =-(

Hey guys.. So I had my surgery 3/28. I am down 23 pounds so far! However, I am noticing I have no restriction and am getting hungrier more often like every 2-3 hours. I am still trying to eat every 4 hours but I find myself snacking a little. I also feel like my weight loss is slowing down. Idk if its because this week I got my menstrual but I feel very sad. Do I need a fill or is this normal?

It does sound like you need a fill. Most need at least a few fills before they have restriction. Here's some good questions to ask yourself:

-Can you feel satisfied with a cup or less of food?

-Can you go 4-5 hours without hunger?

-Are you losing weight regularly, even if slowly?

If you answer no to one or more of these, I'd consider talking to your doctor about a fill.

You need a fill. As you lose weight, the visceral fat around the stomach goes away and the band loosens.

Losing weight is a little different. We all lose really fast in the beginning due to the liquids, but it slows when we go to real food. Just keep up with what you've been doing, and if you need to, add a healthy snack so you are not hungry.
