kimmy215 0 Posted March 3, 2006 I just had my first fill this morning. My surgery was on 1/3/06. Before the fill, I could eat almost anything without any problem. On the way home from the doctor, I got a hamburger. I threw up part of it. I was very hungry and ate the first few bites without chewing very well. I then got the rest down slowly. This afternoon, I tried to eat a sliced, skinned apple....threw it up too. Is this normal? Does it ease up after a few days? Could I possibly have enough restriction with only one fill? Has anyone gotten enough restriction with just one fill? Please help...
Julie* 0 Posted March 3, 2006 I haven't had a fill yet but I do know that my doc said that the first 24 hours after a fill should be liquids only. You may want to check with your doctor on this. Hopefully someone else can help you with the restriction question.

freebit 0 Posted March 8, 2006 It is very normal. I find that chicken Soup really helps me get through bad days (Cambell's). Watery chili (Wendy's) goes down good too if eaten slowly and and chewed very well. 30-45 mins to finish a meal is ok. Many times I get tired of eating before that time and just stop eating. The guy that invented the band was a genius. "Lets make people lose weight by making eating a miserable experience." LOL <rolls eyes>
