Everyone Said Premiere Protien Shakes Are Goood, To Me It Tastes Like Watered Down Chocolate Milk

vanilla is worse. Try adding sugar free syrups for a different taste.

Does vanilla taste any better?

I told my nephew they tasted liked chocolate milk. To which he replied "Aunty Honk I think you've forgotten what chocolate milk tastes like". Smartass

@Show1980: The Protein Shakes are a hit and miss when it comes to personal pereference. My suggestion is to try several brands and mix the powder with Almond Milk (unsweetened). I have found for myself that I really like "Pure Protien" chocolate from Walgreens. 2 LBs. for $17.99 (can't beat that) was by far my favorite. Oh, I found what works best when mixing it is the blender. Milk first, powder, and if you want it frothy 3 icecubes. I have tried mixing this in my blender ball container and found it comes out lumpy. Now, through trial and error I have found if I warm up about 4 ounces of the almond milk in the microwave (30 seconds) add the powder mix throughly with fork and then add the other 4 ounces of milk in, its great without having to use the blender. Over ice is great!

I happen to like the chocolate. But everyone's taste is different. Some people swear by the Bariatric Advantage I wanted to vomit drinking them. I don't think the premeir Protein tastes like chocolate milk though. I also lime Unjury and I think their chocolate tastes like chocolate milk when made with milk

I love Champion Pure whey Protein (chocolate). It mixes up great in a bottle with ice very well and doesn't leave it all foomy after blending. And the flavor to me is the best I've found. I get it at The Vitamin Shoppe, it's kind of expensive $45 for 5lbs but it has 21g of protein per serving.

I like the premier products better then any whey products. and you can't beat the Protein bang for your buck.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
