donna12 742 Posted May 10, 2012 I'm cracking up, from poop to pills etc comment. That's the truth to say the least since I've signed up and read. I haven't had surgery yet nor started the pre-op diet. I go for Psych Eval day after tomorrow and meet with my surgeon on the 24th, can't wait. I've learned a lot on here, good and bad, well not bad, just informative. And I'm sure I've got lots more to learn in the coming months ahead. signed: can't wait to be banded Donna! Tsign36 37 Posted May 10, 2012 Welcome to you as well from one Newbie to another! I've become slighlt addicted to this site... always reading, responding when I can, but taking in as much information as possible. I've gotten great ideas, read great successes, read tough struggles, and really feel more comfortable with my decision to proceed. I too am a mom with little ones and don't have an option... I have to do this for them and for me. We are all in this together! Good luck as you start the process, I am just able done with all my pre stuff like tests and have my medical clearance on the 24th so am hoping for surgery early in June.... Keep us all posted on your journey and you will hopefully read posts and questions from me thoughout the process as well!

bcohan 2 Posted May 10, 2012 Hi Brooke33, Welcome! I wish you much success with this program. I had my surgery done in Sept of 2006 and have absolutely no regrets. I am down 125 lbs and still losing. I was 60 yrs old when I had the surgery. It has given me a new lease on life and I feel so blessed and grateful to have found this program. Take care and good luck and do everything your doctor says. It really works, but you have to work it. Barbara
