Amanda1982 142 Posted May 9, 2012 Does anyone have a maintenance plan for when they reach their goal? Or are there any vets out there who have kept the weight off for 1…2…3 years or longer? If so how did you transition and from losing to just maintaining.
B-52 7,113 Posted May 9, 2012 Everything remains the same.....your weight slows down to almost a stop. There is nothing else you can or need to do but continue with your new lifestyle. I considered getting a slight unfill, maybe .3 cc but my Dr advised against it. His only concern is that I loose any significant weight because that would not be fat but muscle and other essential tissue at that point. I don't go back to see him untill September. Jachut 487 Posted May 10, 2012 I have maintained my loss ( well got a bit lighter actually) for about five years. I do all the same things i did to lose, my weight loss just got slower and eventually stopped. I have needed a teeny top up fill once a year or so. I eat about 1500 calories a day and run or do a spin class most days.
