Anyone here have any experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Care Elect PPO)? If so, how long did you have to wait for the lap band surgery approval after your surgeon submitted your paperwork?

Submitted to insurance June 4th call from dr June 12th saying I was approved and my surgery is July 2nd! Yay! Do u know what u will have to pay up front to hospital?

I have the same insurance company also. My paperwork has yet to be submitted by doctors office tho because they were waiting on a surgery clearance letter. Although I don't recall the insurance wanting this for approval
