The way most people's journey happens in the first couple weeks they lose weight quickly, which is mainly Water weight. This time is meant for healing and weight lose is just a plus. Then the following months you will be in Bandster hell with no restriction. Once you have had enough fills you will begin losing 1-2 lbs a week. Don't try to lose weight to quickly or you will have more sagging. Remember this journey is a marathon not a sprint.

Hi everyone.... I was banded on 3/22 and lost 15lbs in a few weeks. Since staring back on trying to eat normal I've gained weight. I go for my first fill Wednesday. After reading your comments I feel better. Thanks for posting. Good luck everyone!!!!!

I appreciate the discussion also. I was banded on April 18th and lost 20 pounds pre op but haven't lost since. Now that I am three weeks out I'm feeling like I can eat a lot more. Trying to be aware of what I am putting in my mouth but I guess I wanted results immediately. My doctor said not to worry about losing weight until your fills start. But it is frustrating.
