Started my liquid/ 1 lean Neal a day diet 10 very long days ago. This morning when I started to make my Protein share I suddenly had an epiphany.

I used

1 cup of skim milk

1 tsp of Splenda

1 scoop of pure protein vanilla flavor

1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice

A little vanilla extract.

It was AMAZING! I'll post more recipes as I come up with them. Y'all should do the same to get us out of the old boring shake routine!

Today I added a little bit of Peanut Butter to my shake and it was pretty good. I also added a couple drops of sugar free vanilla Syrup. Not sure if that helped much or just made me feel better. Lol. Tomorrow I plan to blend some frozen mango into a vanilla shake and see how that goes.

I'm not banded yet, hoping for a June date but I'm curious too, what is a nectar shake as I have to do 2 wks of Protein Shakes pre-op? Also would like to know what brand of Protein Powder are you using to do the pumpkin spice flavor shake? thx for the recipe.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
