If you are concerned about the fat content try turkey burger (Yum!). it 's very low fat, or even Bison burger. You'd have to get Bison at a specialty meat shop, and it may cost a little more, but you would be eating so little of it it would be worth it.(Yum again !) A friend and I have a girls lunch out monthly and I will order a burger patty top it with low fat cottage cheese and have it with a side salad. If its over cooked and dry it will get stuck though so its trial and error for the individual. Keeping fingers crossed!! thanks for this tip. i must try it. so far, if im very slow and drawn out i can eat smoked cod... im able to eat pork but nothing else yet. im a week out from my first fill.
