The gas can take a couple weeks to totally dissipate. It seems like the people who end up with the pregnant look are back to normal after about a week.

I felt "fatter" for about 2 weeks after surgery. Like my tummy was huge and I have no muscle control. I didn't think of the gas but more no muscle control. It gets better either way.

I to am very bloated. My stomach feels very tight and swollen. I did make a mistake last night and forgot I shouldnt use a straw to drink and ended up at 2 am feeling like i had a huge bubble of air in my chest. Wont do that again. I will be glad when the gas part passes to.

I was told to take a tsp of mom that the gas is to low to come up and not far down enough to come out the other way. it did help
