Hi my name is Rose and I was banded in Port Huron, Michigan by Dr. Zubin Bhesania April 24, 2012. It has been a week and I feel fantastic! I have already lost a little and it feels great! I know I have a long journey ahead of me, but I am ready! I was facing several health problems that would not have been reversible if I had not lost weight soon. I am so grateful for this second chance!

Its be over a month post an update on how u r feeling R U still on a clear Fluid diet

I have had a couple of rough weeks. I developed a seroma (fluid build up) around my port and had to have it aspirated a few times. That was not fun. My doctor said some people just do this. Other than that I feel great! I did this because I was in danger of losing my eyesight due to an issue from the weight. I have lst 40 pounds and got the news yesterday that my eyes are normal again, and I am out of danger. I cannot wait to get the rest of it off! I started a full Fluid diet almost two weeks ago, and am starting purreed today. I have my first fill on the 25th, so I imagine my weight loss will start slowing then. I keep my caloric intake between 600 and 700 daily, and watch my fat, sugar, and Protein intake religiously. This was the best decision I have ever made for myself!
