I had my 3rd fill today .4cc not much at all. But since my last fill march 19th i have lost 14 pounds oh yeah oh yeah. Im so happy with myself. People think this is easy and as my fellow banders know that is not the case. This is a hard road we have chosen but worth it in the end. even tho i go a long wsys to go its still exciting thinking about wats to come. S/n does anyone eat indian food thinking about venturing out. Wat a good beginner dish. Anywho i hope all is well ladies ane gents. No worries and keep on keepin on

Congratulations. Your post made me smile!

My last fill about 3 weeks ago was .4 cc and that was the magic amount. Totally get the restriction now! It may seem like a little but there will be a tipping point that gets you at your perfect fill amount.

I would go tandoori chicken. Lotsa flavor, lean cooking. Good Protein. I would skip any rice or naan. (Is that how you spell it?)

Enjoy!

I would be careful with tandoori chicken as it can be very dry, you are better off trying a mild curry that has a lot of sauce. When I go out I worry about whether or not the food will go down rather than what is the healthiest, lowest calorie choice. After all this is a lifestyle change and nobody expects you to be perfect 100% of the time.

I have 9.1 and that'll be it I think.

I would see what interesting vegetables they might have. Fill up on Protein and add veggies.

Curry is delicious but sometimes upsets my tummy especially if it's swimming in sauce. It's hard to describe but to me it is the classic Indian taste. I love it as a chicken salad with cranberries.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
