littlerlou 7 Posted April 30, 2012 I had my 3rd fill today..the first fill was 3ccs. The 2nd fill was .5cc. This fill was 2ccs and I feel like death. My chest hurts like pressure..straight to my back and my stomach aches. I spit up so much Water on teh way home that it was about 6 oz of water that I drank earlier. I felt fine when I was leaving but its about and hour drive and half way home I started feeling the pain. Is this normal for a larger fill?
carisajo83 0 Posted April 30, 2012 No, you are overfilled!! This happened to me last month and I felt like I was drowning! ! Call your dr now! It'll only get worse when you lay down.
TKW 501 Posted April 30, 2012 turn the car around! You are way too tight! Don't wait to go back to have a little taken out. you don't want to get dehydrated or risk a slip.
elcee 3,341 Posted April 30, 2012 Agreed, you are way too tight. If you can't swallow and can't keep Water down you have a major problem.

this sucks 557 Posted May 1, 2012 I had my 3rd fill today..the first fill was 3ccs. The 2nd fill was .5cc. This fill was 2ccs and I feel like death. I felt fine when I was leaving but its about and hour drive and half way home I started feeling the pain. Is this normal for a larger fill? That is NOTnormal! Call your doctor and get back in. You need to be able to swallow liquids at least. I am almost two years out from surgery and have had to go back once ( the next day ) to get a little bit removed. It still amazes me that a small amount removed can give such relief!
rhya2k 31 Posted May 1, 2012 My doctor always has me stay for at least 20 min and drinking Water the entire time! You should of turned around at the time. That happened to me and luckily we were still in town and I went back and got a lil removed. Good luck
littlerlou 7 Posted May 1, 2012 I went first thing this morning and they took out 1cc. It was instant relief. I cannot believe how being too tight affects EVERYTHING. I did not sleep at all last night..my legs hurt by stomach hurt, my back hurt...it was miserable...all the way there I was miserable. Then, as soon as they took out 1cc it was like everything immediately started to disapperar. Im taking it slow today and staying on liquids but boy I will NEVER make that mistake again. Im hanging around the Dr. office for AT LEAST 20 minutes next fill. Thank you everyone for the advice!!!
sabra052005 2 Posted May 1, 2012 I need some opinions, I was banded on January 13 and have lost 36 pounds as of April 11( I only weigh once a month ) I have had 2 fills so far and for awhile now I can't keep much down , I don't know if I am eating to fast or just too tight. I hate to get in filled seeing as it will cost me 150 dollars, however I don't feel like I am losing as much now. I have read that it might be because I am not eating enough. I just don't know what to do. I'm not eating bad stuff mainly trying to eat chicken and tuna and string cheese and Protein Shakes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. littlerlou 7 Posted May 1, 2012 Sabra....36 pounds in 3 months is great! However, if you are having problems keeping stuff down you NEED to go back. What about liquids...do you have a hard time drinking? You should still be able to drink if you are eating too fast. I would make the appointment either way. sugarsugar209 0 Posted May 3, 2012 Wow...I have had two fills and every time i go, my doctor only put's 1cc so i have a total of six or seven but i feel as if i can still eat...
TKW 501 Posted May 3, 2012 I struggled a lot at first and it was because I was eating too fast. But... you could be too tight. Really really take your time and make sure the bites are small, if it doesn't improve go in. Being to tight can cause major problems! Take small bites and wait a minute between bites. See what happens,.
littlerlou 7 Posted May 6, 2012 Well its been about 5 days. The first 2 days were good..but now..not so much. I cant hold down anything. It all feels like it sits in my throat and even the smallest bite extremely well chewed hurts all the way down.
