Hey everybody....just saying hi, its been a while. I am not doing so good with the diet thing...I do good all day...and then like tonight...I had a whole solo lean cuisine meal, 2 handfuls of baked cheetos, and 2 bites of a cookie...is that binging or what? My band has no restriction. I am going in again on the 28th, but that will be my 3rd fill since my surgery feb.20th. it is so hard not feeling restriction when everybody on here seems to feel it! O'well..we will see what the scale says on Wed...

Today's plan accomplishment:

I will follow my Nutrisystem meal plans. (OK way off track for me today. I plan on being off track this whole week. Friends in visiting for the week and going out to eat alot. So I expect to not lose any this week either. Go ahead and just shoot me now.)

I will exercise for a minimum of 20 min a day 4 days a week. (Too sore today from doing the Marathon on Sunday.)

I will lose at least 1 lb a week. (HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA.)

I will drink at least 64 ounces of Water a day. (Got in about 64oz so far. Can we say I live in the bathroom now. LOL!!)

Positive reinforcement mantras:

I will continue to eat healthy and hope to lose weight.

I will continue to exercise and hope to lose weight.

I will continue to be proud of myself with all the accomplishments to date.

Finally got to walk again! Yes, it felt good. My husband has been getting home too late for me to go to the track, so I haven't been going. Walked 2 miles last night and the weather was perfect here in Texas for it!

My size 18 (yes 18 jeans) are SO comfy. Thought I wouldn't be able to breathe in them, but I like them. I want to go out and buy tons of clothes, but then I will be down in a 16 and what good will a bunch of 18's do? :(

Keep up the great work people!

Sorry p'nut - could remember the right format... hope this gave you enough info.

Everyone --- have a great rest of the week!

I will lose at least 1 lb a week. (HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA.)

I will drink at least 64 ounces of Water a day. (Got in about 64oz so far plus two glasses of WINE. Can we say I live in the bathroom now. LOL!!)

C 240.4 (-1.2)

Not bad for a week where I had my time of the month - I'll take it! Usually, I lose nothing :D

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
