Smartinez16 1 Posted April 24, 2012 I was banded April 13th. 10 days post op && I'm feeling good, but I have noticed now that I'm not so tender and swollen that I can actually feel my tummy now. I feel my band in the middle of my stomach below my bra line. Is this normal? Im prettysire ots my band.My port is by my belly button so I know it's not my port. Sometimes it's uncomfortable but I just feel it which is odd. Is this normal? Help (:
Daisy Duke 0 Posted April 24, 2012 My port sits under my bra line, but if you're concerned I would check with your Dr. That is your best bet, it could be scar tissue or muscle as well. My incision where they inserted the actual band still is uncomfortable 4 years later.
NWgirl 574 Posted April 24, 2012 My band is right below my bra line (saw it today on my upper GI and they showed me where my breasts are on the screen too) and I can sometimes feel it when drinking liquids, but other than that, no. I would say once your body is used to it and less aggravated, you won't notice
elcee 3,341 Posted April 24, 2012 You cannot feel your band. That is buried quite deep, the most likely thing is that it is part of your port that you can feel.
