Driven4SUCCESS 2 Posted April 23, 2012 Hi April Banders!! My name is Jenna and I had my Lap-Band surgery on April 10, 2012. It was an outpatient procedure...I went into the hospital at 7:30am and I was home and in my bed by 3:30pm. I'm so happy with the results I'm having so far. I've lost a total of 20 pounds in less than a month. I think that's awesome!!! Starr Vampira (My Lap-Band's name) will get her first fill on May 7, 2012. I'm looking forward to it, because I'm feeling hungry after about 2 hours of eating....normally I just drink more fluids and that helps. I haven't had any cravings at all, which is great even after I see food commercials! I wasn't sure that was possible. I look forward to talking to you all!! kerrbear72 55 Posted December 27, 2012 Well here's what I've come up with I too was banded in April got first fill in June and to date I've lost 50 pounds since June. I have figured out it don't matter how few calories u eat your going to lose what your body is going to lose if that makes since. I've ranged from 1200 down to 700 cals and I'm still losing slow. But that's ok cause at least I'm loosing. Don't get frustrated and just keep doing what your suppose to do and I think the weight WILL eventually come off. Look at it this way the slower u lose the less likely of flabby skin that's what I'm telling my self. Hang in there it's like the turtle and the hare and who won that race ???ƒ
