tym4me 206 Posted April 23, 2012 I feel like i am at a good restriction level. However this weekend we celebrated my anniversary ( which is 18yrs today). anyhow we went out for dinner an i got stuck on almost eveeything 3 days straight toast which had been fine until now, chicken, i seem to be getting stuck on everything except smoothies veggies and OFCOURCE cake i do not want to start eating sliders but it hurts so badly to get stuck. Has anyone dealt with this? Plz any ideas appreciated. Constructive critism glad accepted too. I just REALLY want to be successful. Btw i have 5.3 in a 10cc band. Thanks all
jennifer1 180 Posted April 23, 2012 have you been sick or stressed recently. i had an episode where i was traveling by car for over 6 hours and was super tight. didnt get it. i found my band goes thru fickle phases with no rhyme or reason. sometimes, stress, TOM, or the weather can effect it. could any of those be the culprit? jennifer

Jean McMillan 2,973 Posted April 23, 2012 If you're getting stuck on everything for 3 days straight, it's time to put yourself on liquids so everything in there can calm down! I have fibro also (in fact, I tried to join your Fibro and Life group, but couldn't for some reason), and a few months ago I published an article in Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain LIFE magazine about the corelation between obesity and fibro. One doctor told me that weight loss can exacerbate fibro symptoms because of the inflammatory role of adipose (fat) tissue in the immune system. So it makes sense (to me anyway) that a flare up of fibro or another immune system disorder like lupus could cause inflammation in the digestive system.
