NWgirl 574 Posted July 3, 2012 We should have all get together for a coffee date somewhere. I did receive your PM Staci, I will text you tonight so you have my number. I'd love to know what Protein you use. When I drink a shake, I use the costco premier nutrition chocolate or Atkins Caramel cafe and blend both with fruits for a smoothie. I tried Jay Robb Protein and love the orange dreamsicle but found the others to have a weird aftertaste- I don't know if I got bad batches, but maybe I should try them again? m.boyer 8 Posted July 5, 2012 I'd like to meetup too. I couldn't stand the costco shakes, so luckily my husband has finished them for me. Just had my second fill last week.......the fills are very slow at OWLS. Will take me at least 3 more months to get close to restriction. Other than that things have been going pretty smoothly. Does anyone have kids? My son will be 4 on the 15th!

m.boyer 8 Posted July 10, 2012 Dr. Patterson's does 1 cc, 1cc, and then down to 1/2 cc. So about 1/2 the rate as Legacy. At least I only have a 10cc band. I have my 3rd fill (1/2 cc =/) in about 2.5 weeks.
NWgirl 574 Posted July 10, 2012 That's unfortunate, but it's not a race either... I find as long as I eat high Protein, I stay full. I believe I am at 4.5 out of 10cc now and can honestly say there's a difference. Do you go to the support meetings? There is one Wednesday evening...

Have any of you gone to it before at the good sam location on nw 23rd? Is it worth checking out? I've gone and probably will be going tomorrow. There were only four other people the times I've gone before, but they said when the weather starts getting better that more people come out. I really like that they have a discussion topic each time and one of the staff (surgeon, nutritionist, physical therapist, or psychologist) leads the meeting.
