I went out with my mom this morning to a coffee shop and realized that I was pretty stuffed after drinking my cup of tea, and wasn't going to get the Soup down. It's very very strange to just stop there and think "Ok, I guess I'm done." I'm not looking forward to feeling hungry though! And I hear that should start soon... DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted April 21, 2012 Colace is a great preventative. It's a softner, not a stimulant laxative. I started taking it the morning after my surgery and continued to take it daily until I finally "went". I know from past experience that pain killers and anesthetic can really bind you up, so I that's why I started it right away. If anyone is trying to avoid it, I'd start the Colace immediately. Oh and congrats to the new bandsters
