Jean McMillan 2,973 Posted April 21, 2012 It could be gas, but you should never ignore chest pain. Call your surgeon and go to the ER.
Shannon28 26 Posted April 21, 2012 I'm on day 6 post op and I still have a pain in my chest. It isn't near as bad as it was but it almost feels like a stuck burp. It can get extremely annoying, but I'm pretty sure mine is still gas pain. If you have concerns I'd call your doctor just to make sure.

Lannae 46 Posted April 21, 2012 I had gas in between my shoulder blades...took about 4 days to go away but a week to stay gone..It felt like I did something to it, however it never, ever hurts to go get checked out...just to be safe...then you can treat the gas, and feel releived... danielle b 32 Posted April 21, 2012 It is either gas still or you are drinking too much too fast. I used a medicine cup, 1 oz cup and I drank out of that for first week...little sips. When you eat too much or a large bite, that is exactly what being stuck feels like...pressure in your chest. You can try gas x to see if its the gas...but otherwise take smaller drinks and/or bites...and chew chew chew!! Hope this helps you all!
